Pricing and payouts

Configure USD subscriptions and USDC query prices, and track their payouts separately.

Configure payment options in each dataset's Settings → Payment options.

Open Subscriptions → Selling to connect Stripe, complete onboarding, and check whether your account can accept card payments. Then save a dataset's monthly price, query quota, and usage terms in Settings. Buyers confirm a recurring purchase through Stripe Checkout with card or Link where available. Stripe manages payment details and bank payouts.

The current quarry commission on new subscriptions is shown during Stripe setup. Stripe fees still apply. Subscription sales reports gross paid USD invoices before fees and refunds, ongoing subscriptions, and successful subscription queries. It keeps these amounts separate from USDC revenue and wallet balances.

Each confirmed monthly payment grants that period's quota. Failed renewal payments grant no new period; unused quota expires. Buyers can update their payment method, view invoices, or cancel renewal through Manage billing on their Subscriptions page. Cancellation preserves access until the paid period ends.

Changing a dataset's offer creates terms for new subscribers. Existing subscribers keep their original price, quota, and usage terms. This version has no automatic overages, trials, upgrades, or prorations. See Agent subscriptions for the buyer's flow.

USDC payments per query

Each successful paid query transfers USDC from the payer's wallet to your payout wallet through x402. Payments use the platform's configured network, Base or Base Sepolia.

quarry creates and manages your payout wallet during account setup, including its keys. The wallet must be ready before you publish with x402. Each query is settled individually, so revenue becomes available in the wallet after settlement. See Withdrawals to transfer it to an external address.

Withdrawals

Open the account menu using your avatar at the top right. It shows your USDC balance and lets you withdraw to an external 0x address on the platform's network.

The minimum withdrawal is 0.01 USDC.
quarry requests sponsored gas. If sponsorship is unavailable, the withdrawal may use ETH from your payout wallet to pay network fees.
Only one withdrawal can be pending or submitted at a time.
Withdrawals move through pending → submitted → confirmed, or failed. The transaction hash appears after submission.

Withdrawal errors include:

`PAYOUT_WALLET_NOT_READY`	Wallet is not ready; check its status before retrying
`INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE`	Amount exceeds your available balance
`WITHDRAWAL_IN_FLIGHT`	A previous withdrawal is pending or submitted
`WITHDRAWAL_SEND_FAILED`	Submission failed or its outcome is unknown; check the withdrawal status and wallet before retrying

USDC query pricing

Set a price from 0 to 10,000 USDC per query on the dataset page. You can change it later. New query requests use the saved price; cached discovery contracts and catalog listings may take time to update.

Payments settle after successful searches. Validation errors, dataset precondition failures, rate limits, and SEARCH_FAILED responses do not generate revenue. See Error codes.

USDC networks

The platform uses one network at a time: base for mainnet or base-sepolia for testnet. The dataset contract names it in payment.network. Payments and withdrawals use that network.

Query analytics

The dataset analytics page currently covers settled x402 queries:

Paid query counts and revenue in USDC.
Average search latency.
The number of distinct paying wallets.
Recent settled queries, including recorded query text, payer addresses, and transaction hashes.

For settled queries, quarry records up to the first 500 characters of query text. Review these queries to understand what people and agents search for.

Subscription query totals appear under Subscriptions → Selling. Public catalog call counts include both settled x402 queries and successful subscription queries; those counts therefore differ from the dataset's x402 analytics.
