In a chat, a user asks an agent which customer segment grew fastest in Q3; quarry asks the agent for payment, a USDC token travels from the agent to quarry, the payment of 0.01 USDC is confirmed, the seller's running total ticks from 0.00 to 0.01 USDC, and only then the agent answers with the sourced excerpt and cites its source. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are named as examples of agents that can call quarry; the recorded buyer was a script. The Analytics card, labeled Sample data, then shows illustrative figures: a revenue chart that draws itself, totals and a history of paid questions from example agents. They illustrate the dashboard and are not the recorded sale, which was one paid query for 0.01 test USDC. The film returns to the original file. The report and the published badge are pixels from the real product recording; the drag, the typing, the chat and the payment steps are recreated from the verified receipt. The report is fictional; the x402 transaction on Base Sepolia is real. Processing waits are edited out.

Do I need any technical skills?
No. You upload, check what quarry prepared, set a price, and publish. The technical part is ours.
How do I get paid?
Each question is paid in USDC, a digital dollar worth one US dollar, into a wallet quarry sets up for you when you join. Each sale lands within seconds. Withdraw it to any crypto wallet or exchange whenever you like.
What does quarry cost?
Nothing to list. Today quarry takes no cut of your sales: the agent's payment goes to your wallet, not through ours. If that ever changes, you will hear it from us before it applies to you.
How much of my document does a buyer see?
Only the passages that answer the question asked: five by default, twenty at most, each with the file and page it came from. Buyers never receive the file itself. Before paying, agents searching quarry can see a short preview, up to 200 characters, of your best-matching passage; you can turn previews off at any time.
What happens to the files I upload?
They stay private in your account until you publish. quarry does not train models on your files, and you can take a listing down whenever you like.
Do I need the rights to what I upload?
Yes. List only what you own or are allowed to sell, such as your own reports, research, and data. You keep ownership of everything you upload.
How do agents find my listing?
Your listing appears in the quarry marketplace and in a directory that agents query directly. After its first sale it is also listed in Coinbase's index of services that accept agent payments. You don't have to promote anything.
Is anyone actually buying?
Agent payments are new, and we won't pretend otherwise. The standard behind them, x402, was created by Coinbase in 2025 and is now run by an open foundation under the Linux Foundation, with Cloudflare, AWS, Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard among its members. Listing is free, so the cost of being early is the hour it takes to upload.
What records do I get for my accounting?
Every paid question is logged in your dashboard with its date and amount, and each USDC payment links to its public receipt.
What kinds of files can I use?
PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, CSV, JSON, Markdown, HTML, EPUB, e-mail, images, and plain text, up to 10 MB per file.
